Taiwanese manufacturer HTC has made waves at the Mobile World Congress event in Barcelona following the launch of not one but two Facebook-focussed phones.
The HTC ChaCha and the HTC Salsa both feature a dedicated button that takes the user directly to Facebook. The button can also be used to share on Facebook any photo being viewed at that moment, or any song being listened to via the device.
HTC’s unveiling statement said: “The Facebook button on the HTC ChaCha and HTC Salsa is context-aware, gently pulsing with light whenever there is an opportunity to share content or updates through Facebook.”
Both handsets come with the Android Gingerbread operating system, as well as HTC’s Sense software, and both devices have a five megapixel camera.
